- Environmental performance will be periodically reviewed along with this policy in accordance with the Haliplex Integrated Management System Schedule. Haliplex will also employ this system to set and review objectives and targets in the spirit of continual improvement.

RoHS and WEEE
Meeting the requirements of the European Union RoHS (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances) directive is an established objective of the Haliplex Environmental Management System. As a result, all Haliplex products have been transferred to a RoHS supply chain, and Haliplex is uniquely positioned to offer compliant product for European markets and applications.
UNEP 'Life Cycle' Environmental Management
Drawing from the inspiration of the United Nations Environment Program’s (UNEP) “Life Cycle” Initiative, Haliplex commits
to achieving sustainable consumption and production patterns by integrating environmental considerations into the
company’s core governance and management systems, and therefore into the “life cycle” of the company. Life Cycle
Management involves the analysis of operations, the identification of potential economic, social and environmental risks
and opportunities, and the formulation of systemic and process-oriented improvement. Leveraging integrated
management mechanisms of measured performance and continual improvement, the Life Cycle Management
methodology recognizes that everyone has their part to play.
