Haliplex Pty Ltd recertifies registration and upgrades to ISO 9001:2008.

Melbourne, Australia - 24 July 2009 - - Haliplex, a leading developer of telecommunication solutions in the Utilities and Public Transportation sector announced today that their Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System has been recertified as compliant with the International Standard ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004. Haliplex has been registered to the ISO 9001:2000 standard since June 2006. The recertification also applies to the Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001:2004.

ISO 9001:2008 introduces no new requirements. ISO 9001:2008 introduces clarifications to the existing requirements of ISO 9001:2000 based on eight years of experience of implementing the standard world wide with about one million certificates issued in 170 countries to date. It also introduces changes intended to improve consistency with ISO 14001:2004.

The successful upgrade was a direct result of the entire Haliplex organization working together to maintain the consistency of the Quality Management System while continuously fine tuning it over time. Meeting the customer demand for the highest level of quality is vital to Haliplex's present and future success. Haliplex has demonstrated their commitment to quality and to the continuous improvement of their management system by effectively upholding their ISO 9001 certificate and retaining their registration.
